I am Chef Reneé.
Growing up in a family of home cooks, I am no stranger to the culinary arts.
I have been inspired by delicious food ever since I can remember.
✔ Hearing my daddy sharpen his prized chef knives after a long day of work
✔ Smelling the aromas of Mama's famous spaghetti simmering on the stove
✔ Tasting the good ol’ fashioned southern cooking of all three of my grannies
✔ Being comforted by my granny's whistling while she cooked joyfully
All of these things meant a family meal was being made with love.
One of my grannies would let me be her little helper in the kitchen. When I stayed at another granny's house, I'd awaken early in the morning to the sound of clanging pots and breakfast cooking.
These hard-working people are the ones who planted the seeds of inspiration in the core of who I am today.
As I entered adulthood, I experimented with many of the culinary delicacies the world has to offer. I worked in restaurants and catering and learned efficiency, hospitality, creativity, and the value of hard work. I've studied the culture and cuisine of places all over the world, and I'm excited to offer my culinary art to a personal and intimate setting.
